Honor continues releasing new products that meet the needs of most young customers. Recently, the manufacturer came in with the Honor 8X smartphones as well as two smartbands in face of the Honor Band 4 and its running version. As for now, the new smartband is available for purchase at a price tag of $45.99.
The Honor Band 4 is considered to be the closest rival to the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. It comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED color screen that displays up to 45 Chinese characters. In this sense, this smartband is way more attractive when comparing to the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, which is capable of providing up to 24 Chinese characters. The body unit is made of a 2.5D glass, while the edges are treated with large curvature. The overall appearance is also rounded. There is a circular Home button at the front.
It is also water resistant up to 50 meters. The band uses a six-axis sensor, which supports automatic recognition of swimming. The Honor Band 4 supports Bluetooth 4.2, Alipay scan code, NFC, find the phone, remote control camera, stopwatch, alarm clock, timer, and other functions.
Under the hood, it carries a 100mAh battery, which can offer a 6-day battery life with continuous heart rate measurement.
Another neat feature is TruSeen 2.0 that uses the cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor complete sleep structure including deep sleep (REM) to analyze sleep and offer personalized sleep recommendations. With the Huawei TruSeen 2.0 heart rate technology, the wearable can is capable of 24-hour continuous heart monitoring when running, walking, cycling and more. It’s done through the AI algorithm. The accuracy rate is as high as 94.3%.
