Dibea D960 – A Stylish Robot Vacuum Cleaner For Only $220.68

In recent times, so many manufacturers have entered the robotic vacuum cleaner business. Obviously, the best known for us is the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vaccum, which has a couple of generation cleaners to its name.  While many may admire the design and performance of Xiaomi vacuum cleaners, the price is usually an issue as the 1st Gen. Xiaomi vacuum cleaner sells for over $250. However, there are dozens of other companies you’ve probably never heard of that will sell you similar products like Noiseless ILIFE V7S Pro Smart Robotic Vacuum Cleaner which is currently selling for about $186.  Nevertheless, today, we bring you a product from Dibea, a manufacturer which has established itself as one of the top brands in the vacuum cleaner business. This vacuum cleaner dubbed Dibea D960 comes with good features and is quite economical. Let us take a look at the details of this device to see what it has to offer.

Dibea D960 – Attractive Features

Dibea D960 is certainly a competition for a range of robotic vacuum cleaners that currently flood the market and, at least in theory, it includes some very attractive features. It is powered by a battery, programmable and includes a remote control. It is not compatible with Wi-Fi or smartphones which is a downside to this device, however, it has a working time of approximately 2 hours (120 minutes) while the battery takes about 3 hours to charge. It has a dust tank of 350 ml, a suction power of 1,200pa and a cleaning radius of 12 inches. The Dibea D960 weighs 3kg and also includes an H11 grade HEPA filtration which means that even the smallest of particles is removed by this cleaner. Instead of the traditional round shape of vacuum cleaners, the Dibea D960 uses the D shape, popularized by Neato. In addition, Dibea also describes the D960 as very quiet due to its solid motor design. Inside the box, you will find the D960 with its pre-installed and partially charged battery, a charging dock and adapter, a remote control, cleaning brushes and additional sides, as well as a HEPA filter. A user manual and a one-year manufacturing warranty are also included.

Dibea D960 – Performance

While the Dibea D960 has a number of impressive features, nothing matters if it does not really work in practice. And we can only say that the verdict is mixed. As far as navigation is concerned, it will leave you satisfied with the level of intelligent programming. However, it is definitely not the smartest robotic vacuum cleaner when it comes to making its way into a room, it does it without repeating itself a lot. True to Dibea’s word, when it finishes cleaning or when it has little battery, the D960 will return to its charging dock to recharge. In terms of cleanliness, this vacuum cleaner takes care of hardwood floors, common carpets, and low pile carpets. This vacuum cleaner uses four methods of cleaning. It has the V-Line Edge cleaning, Lune-Line cleaning, Edge cleaning and Spot cleaning. Users can set this robot vacuum cleaner to clean whichever way they desire it to.

However, there are precise warnings from Dibea not to try it on medium or high pile carpets. The bad news is that some of Dibea’s claims are a bit misleading. In the first place, despite the assurance that it is a very silent machine, it is not quieter than any other robotic vacuum cleaner. And finally, the other disadvantage is that maybe, in certain types of floors, the D960 does not meet the estimated 2 hours of use. According to the tests, in glass floors, it is capable of achieving it but in wood or carpeted floors, the time of use is reduced up to 100min or less.

I have been a strong follower of Android devices since the release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Right now, Chinese tech completely fascinates me because they are probably the only manufacturers who tries to merge budget and specs.
