Cubot X19 with gradient design & a 4000 mAh battery available for $109.99

Looking at the numerous need for a smartphone, you will all agree with me that ONE smartphone is not enough for many of us. We usually need a flagship device which we cherish and it will be supported by a much cheaper smartphone which will barely leave our pocket but comes handy when the main phone goes out. This is where entry-level devices come in because they are quite cheap. There was a time when a 2GB RAM device was just enough but now, many people will reject anything less than 4GB of RAM. As for internal storage, 32GB and in many cases 64GB is now the least requirement. However, getting a smartphone with these requirements needs at least $150. Nevertheless, we just bumped on the Cubot X19 phone with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM for $109.99. Interestingly, other aspects of this smartphone are satisfactory which makes this device particularly attractive.

Cubot X19

The Cubot X19 features a 5.93-inch FHD+ display with a 2160 x 1080 FHD+ high resolution which affords you a vivid and large enough visual experience. Most smartphones in the industry currently come with 6-inch displays thus this smartphone does not fall below requirement. With Android 8.1 out-of-the-box which is second only to the current Android 9 Pie. This entry-level smartphone comes with an impressive system.

The camera department is quite massive and this is most unexpected from an entry-level phone. It comes with a dual rear camera setup (16MP+2MP) coupled with an 8MP selfie shooter. This is more than impressive for a smartphone that costs only $120. What about the design of this phone? As of last year, the gradient design was a feature reserved for flagship smartphones. Now, we have entry-level Cubot X19 coming with a purple gradient design. This is a huge plus for this smartphone. It completely appears premium.

As a cheap smartphone, one would expect that this smartphone will be stuffed with a weak SoC, probably an SD400 series or one of the MediaTek entry level chips. However, Cubot surprised us with this one by using an Helio P23 SoC clocking 2.5GHz coupled with a Mali G71 GPU. This smartphone is a mid-range device with an entry-level price tag. The chip is supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. As for power, you got a huge 4000 mAh battery which ensures that you get more time on this device.

I have been a strong follower of Android devices since the release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Right now, Chinese tech completely fascinates me because they are probably the only manufacturers who tries to merge budget and specs.
