BlackView, a popular Smartphone manufacturer issued a notice recalling 700 units of the company’s Omega Pro Smartphones which were sold in the months of November and December. BlackView went on to explain that an issue with the SIM card slot in the Omega Pro smartphones sold in the afformentioned time period has made them to take this action
In case you are one of the affected BlackView customers, don’t worry, the company is taking measures to fix this issue. If you have purchased the Omega Pro from one of the company’s authorized online stores, you can return the phone for a free replacement with free shipping. Alternatively, you can also ask the seller to ship you a replacement SIM Card slot, which will also be shipped free of cost.
The news might be dissappointing for a few, but the one thing we have to take away from this news, is that the company is taking responsibility for the issue, and is prepared to fix it right away. If you are one of the affected customers, your replacement should be under process and should reach you in the coming weeks.
BlackView has also said that the manufacturing process has been fixed since this incident and all the units shipped since are perfectly alright. So, if anyone bought the Omega Pro in this month just don’t need to worry, as the manufacturing process has been re-checked since the incident.
