China makes smartphones, tons of them. Some are good, some are great and well let’s say some just don’t live up to the standards. So how do we separate the great– the Beasts as we like to call them– from the lot? Well, we have a solution for you; this new column is going to to explore some of China’s best offerings so stay tuned!
First up we have the DOOGEE
Speaking of performance, we have a 64-bit,octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MTK6753 running the show. It’s got a Mali-T720 GPU on board capable of high speeds and allowing decent multi-tasking, and 3GB of RAM that should provide enough room for you to install all the apps you require since bloatware is an issue you won’t encounter. Also on board is a 16GB internal storage with an option to expand it by upto 32gigs. In the camera department we have a 13MP main shooter with a Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL CMOS sensor that will give you striking images as well as a 5MP selfie snapper that will ensure you always take that instagram-worthy selfie. Powering the entire unit is a 2200 mAh lithium battery.
The DOOGEE device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and quite surprisingly is 4G LTE enabled. GSM support at 850/900/1800/1900MHz is available while the LTE bands included are 800/1800/2100/2600MHz.
