As we already have the popular Amazfit Bip in the smart wristwatch domain with fascinating specs-sheet and design. But now, the brand has stroked well to obtain an enhanced edition for the same with some impressive improvements on the board. At the ongoing CES 2020 event, Huami has launched the Amazfit Bip S smartwatch with outperformed connectivity and other departments. As per the Huami officials, the Amazfit Bip S will go on sale in February for $70.
The Amazfit Bip S Smartwatch Specifications
Externally, the wrist wearable retains the same square dial design as the regular edition, featuring the 1.28” TFT reflective touch panel. Further, the screen offers a 64 RGB colour gamut along with the 176×176 pixels resolution. On both sides of chassis, it tags 20mm straps like the original device.
The wristwatch uses the polycarbonate physique with the dual-tone technology. Moreover, the watch also hosts self-cleaning bands on behalf of cleaning wristband manufacturing process. The straps are built using the molecular lattice technology to deliver softer, dryer and dirt-resistant approach.
Technically, the Amazfit Bip S watch engraves the eminent improvement in terms of enhanced sports mode. Against the 5 Sports Modes in the predecessor, the new device captures 10 Sports Modes. It involves the Free Training, Yoga, Indoor/Outdoor Swimming, Elliptical Training, and Indoor/Outdoor Walking, along with the indoor/Outdoor Running and Cycling.
Furthermore, the smartwatch covers the stroke time, stroke rate and SWOLF index measurement besides the HR monitoring. Huami depicts that the new PPG BioTracker heart rate sensor area is now three times larger with 7 times more LED luminous intensity than the previous edition.
As per the power life, the Amazfit Bip S configures the 190 mAh battery to last for 40 days on a single charge. The standby usage time is up to 90 days.
