AGM X2 SE Offered at Lower Price Tag of $466.32

Not that many smartphone makers are working on rugged handsets. Of course, there is a certain demand for similar models, but it’s a specific field and it’s a bit difficult to come in with anything worthy. Say, the Nomu S10 Pro could win the world thanks to the title of the world’s first IP69 smartphone. In this sense, AGM has to put fewer efforts to grab people’s attention as it’s been on the market for 10 years and all of its models belong to the mentioned category. Previously, the manufacturer came in with the AGM X1 that made the net talk about it with delight. Later AGM announced the X2, which is a true high-end smartphone but it belongs to the rugged phones category. Today, we are going to talk about the special version of the latter named the AGM X2 SE. As the name suggests, the manufacturer has done a couple of changes, and we are going to find out which features they refer to.

Externally, the phone looks like the original model. It has a formidable look. On the front, it carries a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen that has become a tradition for the AGM’s X-line models. Unlike other rugged smartphones, the AGM X2 SE uses glass on the back that is covered with pieces of plastic here and there. And though the display is capable of providing perfect viewing experience, the appearance of X-series models has never been a selling point.

The most attractive feature is the Snapdragon 653 chip. This is not a high-end SoC, but its benchmark results showcase this chipset is capable of providing outstanding performance and handle almost all tasks. It’s also paired with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Plus, there is a whopping 6000mAh battery supporting Quick Charge 3.0.

Surprisingly, the AGM X2 SE comes with strong photography capabilities. On the back, it carries a 12+12MP dual-camera paired with a dual-tone flash. Thus this camera can take excellent photos in any lighting conditions and supports HDR and Bokeh. The front shooter is at 16MP resolution.

As you see, all the abovementioned features are identical to the original model. So what’s the difference between AGM X2 SE and its sibling? Well, the original model costs around $600. But the company has decided to cut off some useless features and offer it for a lower price tag. Particularly, the official page provides an information, according which the phone doesn’t come with an AGM Air app, AGM tools app, air pressure sensor, extra VOC sensor, lanyard, etc.
