Add 249 yuan ($38) Insurance for Xiaomi Mi MIX 2/Mi Note 3 Screens

One of the key features of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is considered to be the ceramic housing. As you know, there are two variants of this phone – one of them comes with a metal frame and a ceramic housing, while the second one sports an all-ceramic body. Earlier it has been rumored the new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will use an all-metal unibody, but now we can state there is only one metal part and it’s the frame. This means the phone should weigh less, and provide more stylish and attractive look. It does, but a ceramic housing like the glass body is damageable. We have already seen the first broken Mi MIX 2 appeared on the net. Agree it looks deplorable. But you shouldn’t worry about it because Xiaomi comes in with a great deal – pay 249 yuan ($38), and a get an insurance for the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 3 for one year.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 3 were launched on the same day. Both models sport the latest hardware and many innovative technologies. But what’s amazing the Mi MIX 2 as well as the Mi Note 3 comes with great screens. Generally, this feature is the most vulnerable part of any smartphone. So Xiaomi has decided to insure its customers and offers an insurance that can be included directly into the purchase deal at only 249 yuan.

This insurance covers a non-human damaged/broken screen caused from dropping in water, rolling or other cases. However, if the service centers couldn’t identify the reason of damage, they won’t repair it. For all those cases the company is offering a deal costing 400 yuan ($61) that will allow you to replace the phone with the new one.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3

While you think this has been done because of some complaints on the damageable ceramic body of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, you are confused. Something like this was offered for the original Mi MIX at the same price. Thus Xiaomi cares about its customers.
