Redmi K60 to Launch In 16GB RAM + 1TB Storage Variant

Today, Redmi shared a teaser about the arrival of a new variant of its Redmi K60 smartphone. Accordingly, the company is launching a new variant with an ultra-large capacity of 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The new version is scheduled to be released tomorrow at 9:00 am. Additionally, the Redmi K60 will also offer a 16GB RAM + 256GB storage option, and there will be a revised price for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.

Currently, Xiaomi’s official website lists the following prices for the existing versions of the Redmi K60:

8GB RAM + 256GB storage: 2,599 yuan ($370)
12GB RAM + 256GB storage: 2,699 yuan ($385)
12GB RAM + 512GB storage: 2,999 yuan ($427)
16GB RAM + 512GB storage: 3,299 yuan ($470)

Specifications

The Redmi K60 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and features LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. It boasts a 6.67-inch 3200×1440 CSOT C6 OLED flexible straight screen with a diamond-like arrangement. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 12-bit color depth, DeltaE value of approximately 0.3, JNCD value of approximately 0.25, supports 16,000-level dimming, and has front and rear dual light perception. The peak brightness reaches 1400nit, and it supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi K60 utilizes a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor on the front and a rear triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera (OV64B40, with optical image stabilization), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (OV08D10), and a 2MP macro camera (OV02B10). The device also comes with built-in camera effects that offer seven different film-like styles.

The Redmi K60 features a built-in 5500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging, allowing for a full charge in just 50 minutes. It also supports 30W wireless fast charging. The glass version of the phone is 8.59mm thick and weighs 204g, while the plain leather version is 8.79mm thick and weighs 199 grams. The phone supports NFC, infrared remote control, Bluetooth 5.3, an X-axis linear motor, and stereo dual speakers. Additionally, it has dual Hi-Res certification.
