vivo X Fold 2 Confirmed to Debut this April with More Specs Details
The upcoming latest foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold 2, is confirmed to launch at the 2023 Boao Forum this April. Huang Tao, VP of the vivo smartphone company, officially establishes it. He revealed that the new foldable phone is the highlight of the 2023 Boao Forum. Before the April launch, there are expected leaks for the vivo X Fold2 specs, features, and design. However, the tweet mentions a slim design and advanced foldable screen. Also, there is mention of a Chinese-inspired design with a sky round place, two appearances, and Vientiane.

There are many rumors about the new foldable phone launching soon. Most claim a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 4800mAh battery, and 120W fast charging. Recently Weibo’s Digital Chat Station deleted a post claiming vivo X Fold 2 specs to include a Sony IMX866 camera, OIS, and V2 ISP. Thus, the vivo X Fold2 review for the primary camera can point toward the 50MP camera of the vivo X90 phone. Moreover, there are dual ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. Hence, it will unlock at high speed.
Surprisingly, the latest folding smartphone from the brand also registered an AnTuTu score of 13,18,092. So the vivo X Fold 2 specs and features include Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. There is an LPDDR5X RAM with a UFS 4.0 ROM. Also, the vivo X Fold2 has a 120Hz refresh rate E6 AMOLED display. It will be the first foldable smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor for the cover screen. There will also be a fingerprint sensor in the power key. It will be extremely light in comparison to other foldable phones. There is no confirmation for the vivo X Fold2 price. However, it will be around US$1400-1500.
