The iQOO Neo 8 is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9200 Plus, an enhanced version of the D9200 that has not yet been officially released. This chipset is expected to rival the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is also rumored to be featured in smartphones from Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

The insider also revealed that the iQOO Neo 8 will come with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is expected to compete against the Redmi K60 Ultra, which is set to launch in the third quarter of 2023.

Additionally, the Redmi K60 Ultra was leaked by the same source, which claimed it will feature an OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and fast refresh rate, along with the Dimensity 9200 chipset and 100W charging.

In Q4 2022, iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 7, Neo 7 Racing Edition, and Neo 7 SE in China, with the Dimensity 9000 Plus, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively. The iQOO Neo 7 available in India is actually a rebranded version of the Neo 7 SE. Hence, it is possible that the Neo 8 series may also include other models, such as the iQOO Neo 8 Racing Edition and the Neo 8 SE.
