Meizu 20 Series Started Pre-Ordering For 1 Yuan ($0.15)

Meizu has not yet announced a clear release date for its highly anticipated Meizu 20 Series Smartphones, but the company has started sharing some details about the phones. Recently, Meizu has launched a “blind pre-order” process for the Meizu 20, which allows users to pre-order the phone without any knowledge of its features.

 

The company is using two attractive features to encourage users to take part in the pre-order process. Firstly, users can pre-order the Meizu 20 series by paying just 1 yuan (about USD 0.15), and secondly, the company will cover the phones of users who have already pre-ordered for 36 months/3 years, an unprecedented offer in the smartphone industry.

 

Separately, it is worth talking about an impressive 3-year warranty, while the market standard is 1 year. Meizu aims to address any doubts regarding the quality of their devices that potential buyers because the brand has gone through a rather difficult stage in its life. The Meizu claims to follow the same strict standards of quality control as industry leaders (A and H can mean) Apple and Huawei, which Meizu strives to work with

A hint of the Launch Date

One interesting aspect that is attracting attention is the teaser released by Meizu, which shows the end date for the pre-application period. Despite not having announced the official release date for the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro, the company has given a general timeframe of “present in the spring”. However, it is worth noting that the closing date for pre-orders coincides with the premiere date, which in this case is March 14.

Specifications

The Meizu 20 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will also feature infrared support, which is a first for Meizu phones. Additionally, the series will have the fastest fingerprint scanner to date, with the second-generation ultrasonic fingerprint scanner being able to scan and recognize a finger in just 0.075 seconds, as per a recent post.

Regarding the camera specifications, the Meizu 20 will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The Pro model will swap the macro camera for a telephoto lens. Both models will debut with Android 13 and the new Flyme OS interface.
