Meizu 20 Will be Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset
After a few years away from the smartphone market, Meizu is preparing to fight among the greats of the flagship territory with its upcoming Meizu 20 series. Teasers of the new device have appeared in a timely manner. But today the Chinese manufacturer has officially revealed the first details of the upcoming new product.
Here’s What We Know
The Meizu 20 is set to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the official poster has revealed that the phone will be equipped with the latest version of its machine learning and artificial intelligence engine, OneMind 10.
A battery with support for fast charging at 80W and a main camera based on the Sony IMX989 sensor at 50MP, like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
That’s where the official information about the upcoming flagship ends for now. More details are expected in the near future.
Meizu 20 Pro design confirmed
As per the leaks, Meizu is set to unveil Meizu 20 and 20 Pro models. Last week, the latter was seen in a leaked photo. The picture showcased a device that had a distinct appearance for its rear camera, featuring a smiley face. Meizu has a talent for introducing phones with innovative designs, and while the brand may not be the most popular at present, its phone designs have consistently been impressive.
However, a new twist has emerged as Digital Chat Station recently unveiled the final design for the Meizu 20 Pro, which is completely different from the previous leak.
The leak shows a horizontally aligned camera setup with three cameras and an LED flash. The power and volume buttons are placed On the right side. On the front, there is a centered cutout for the selfie camera. We’re assuming the phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner, so it’s an OLED display. Presumably with a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
