After revealing Realme Q5i, Q5 and Q5 Pro, the Chinese smartphone maker Realme now brings the fourth iteration to the Q-Series dubbed Realme Q5x. Featured with Android 12 OS (Realme UI 3.0), the Realme Q5x smartphone comes in two colors: Star Blue and Ink Cloud Black. The 5G mobile phone is likely to go up for sales in China from June 23 onwards. There is no confirmation on whether the handset is available for other markets, however.
Realme Q5x Smartphone Specifications
The Realme Q5x adopts a 6.5” IPS LCD display on the front; supporting 1600×720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 400nits of brightness. The HD+ teardrop notch panel delivers an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. The software segment of the device installs Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. Under the hood, Q5x 5G features the powerful Dimensity 700 chipset. The storage compartment integrates 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Also, the company provides the provision to extend storage via a microSD card.
For photography, the latest Q5x 5G device hosts a dual-cam mechanism on the back, including a 13MP main camera and a 0.3MP depth sensor. The selfie shooter measures a 5MP lens. Additionally, the new Q5x 5G smartphone captures a 5000mAh battery to pacify power requirements. It supports 10W charging. The handset carries a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-Sim support, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, WIFI and many other facilities.
In terms of pricing, the Realme Q5x 5G discloses a price tag of 999 Yuan ($149) for the solo 4GB/64GB variant. You can choose your favorite color from Black and Blue options. The smartphone is to hit sales officially on June 23 in China. However, we have no information regarding whether it would commence sales in markets outside China or not.
