March 25, 2022, the news broke on from the famous tipster, digital chat station, that Xiaomi plans to launch its three smartphones in the second quarter this year. As we know, Qualcomm will release the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus chipset soon to the market, so we expect the three smartphones to arrive with the same in the coming future.
The major reveal about the smartphones is that we will get the smartphones under Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi which will be launched with the Snapdragon 8 Plus flagship chipset.
About Snapdragon 8 Plus:
The new chipset will be based on the TSMC 4nm process. The chipset arrives with eight cores, four small and four large cores, and three-cluster architecture. The CPU frequency is 2.99GHz, and in terms of the GPU, we get the slight upgrade with the AnTuTu benchmark score, which will reach the new highs and be the most powerful processor in the Android sector.
Another upgrade you get is that the smartphones will arrive with 2k resolution screens. Xiaomi and Redmi have already launched the flagship smartphones like Xiaomi 12 Pro, Redmi K50, and Redmi K50 Pro, which launches with 2K screens.
Xiaomi Today learns that from the three smartphones launching in the second quarter, one will be a smartphone of the Redmi K50 series, and two others will be Xiaomi MIX series smartphone.
