March 7, 2022, last December, Xiaomi launched the flagship models Xiaomi 12, 12X, and 12 Pro smartphones in China. And we know since 2020, from the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10 series, the company always brought the high-end model under the Ultra name tag. Similarly, the company is now set to launch its high-end model (Xiaomi 12 Ultra) for the global market. Yet there is no official leak from the company about the design, but Xiaomi Today has already revealed the smartphone’s design. And today, we bring you the specs of the cameras, which are placed in the Oreo-shaped circular setup.
About Xiaomi 12 Ultra Camera:
As we have already mentioned, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra Camera will come in a circular/Oreo-shaped structure. In this setup, the main camera is located in the center with the openings of another lens around it. Other cameras might be the telephoto lens, and one will be the ultra-wide-angle lens. Another update we get is that cameras of Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be branded with Leica.
Xiaomi Today has already mentioned that the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus processor will power the new high-end flagship model.
In terms of display, we learned today that the 12 Ultra would get the central punched 2K Samsung flexible OLED display. On the back, as mentioned above, we will see a triple camera setup, and the main lens will be a 50MP Samsung GN2 sensor with a size of 1/1.2 inches. This lens will be supported by the 48MP ultra-wide lens and a 48MP periscope lens.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be fueled with the 4860-mAh battery, supported by the 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
