PC / tablet maker CHUWI announced releasing a lightweight and thin notebook PC, “Chuwi HeroBook Air,” weighing only 910g at 11.6 inches from September 2021 for $199.

As you can see from the price of about $249, HeroBook Air is a low-priced PC with usable performance suitable for students and light use.
Display
HeroBook Air is an 11.6-inch laptop PC. It can be said that it is a size that can be used as a PC because it is small as B5 size.
The resolution is 1366 x 768, which is a little low resolution, but it is a perfect balance considering this size and price. The display is IPS type.
Basic performance that meets everyday needs
The CPU comes with a 2-core Celeron N4020 with a maximum clock of 2.8GHz. The GPU is Intel UHD Graphics 600, and online classes, video conferencing such as Zoom, and high-quality video at 4K60fps can be played crisply.
The Hero Book Air has a fan-less and quiet design, so you can work in a quiet environment such as a library or cafe without worrying about the operating noise.
The memory is equipped with 4GB LPDDR4. 128GB SSD storage is fast with a read speed of 500MB / S. I’m grateful for the speed of SSD instead of eMMC.
There is also a separate M.2 expansion slot, and SSDs can be added up to 1TB.
910g is overwhelmingly lightweight
It measures 277 x 189 x 17 mm and weighs only 910 g. Notebook PCs that weigh less than 1 kg are overwhelmingly lightweight, and you should be able to feel the lightness in the case of carrying around in the room or every day.
That doesn’t mean that the Chuwi HeroBook Air is shaving; it has a full-size keyboard and a large touchpad for comfortable typing and a 36.48Wh TDP 6W energy-saving processor. Combined with a large capacity battery, it can be driven continuously for 9 hours. With this drive time, you don’t have to worry about running out of battery all day long.
