Teclast is one of the few companies that continues to rustle in the low-cost tablet market. The new Teclast M40SE is very similar to the Teclast M40 announced in September, only slightly weaker. The Teclast M40 can now be purchased in China for a modest $ 136). On AliExpress, the price is slightly higher – $ 179.99. There is no information about the cost of Teclast M40SE tablet yet, but it should be slightly lower.

Features of Teclast M40SE Tablet:
Teclast M40 is built on the Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset – power just over two hundred thousand AnTuTu points. A rare chip, but occasionally it falls into the hands of testers.
The Teclast tablet uses an even rarer Unisoc Tiger T610 chip, which until now has only been used in a few very specific devices from Hisense – such as smartphones with ink screens. The Tiger T610 is a slightly weakened version of the Tiger T618, so we expect a little less than two hundred thousand AnTuTu parrots. The performance is not top-notch, but acceptable for mid-range devices.
The memory of the Teclast M40SE is not bad. With 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of constant, there is support for memory cards. The M40 has 2 GB more RAM.
The screens are the same. 10.1 “, IPS-matrix, resolution 1920×1200 (224 PPI). Batteries are also the same – 6000 mAh.

The cameras on the Teclast M40SE are very simple. Front 2 MP and rear 5 MP. The M40 has both 8MP cameras, but you shouldn’t expect too much from them either.
Both tablets have Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi, and support for LTE networks.
We are waiting for the appearance on AliExpress and the first reviews. If there are no problems with reliability – a good bedside reading device. For toys, of course, it is rather weak.
