Is Blackview BV9800 series tough enough? Check the durability test and be the judges!
The Blackview BV9800 series (BV9800/BV9800 Pro) was launched early this month. There are many outstanding features that the two new flagships carry, and it appears that Blackview has not compromised on durability. To demonstrate the build quality of the Blackview BV9800 Series, the company ran a durability test. How did it go? Watch the video below to find out.
In the video, the device is subjected to various tests. You can see that it survives and can work normally after hitting the solid floor from more than 2 meter high, falling down from stairs, being buried in the soil, submersed in and flushed by the water.
This is not the first durability test for Blackview rugged phones. And the test results never fail us. Continuity in making rugged phones year after year makes the Blackview rugged outdoor phones tougher and more reliable.
What makes Blackview phones so durable? Blackview tipped off some secrets of being the ultimate survivor. Mostly, it’s contributed to the design. In structure, it has an aluminum alloy frame in the inner to support the components, covered by the Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 on the face to protect the display, the soft rubber on the bottom to buffer the shock and drops. All of the components and parts are tightly assembled with Blackview technology to form the waterproof chamber.
And it has more sophisticated details — on the front, the edge slightly protrudes creating a bit of a lip around the display, so, along with the Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 protection, it ensures that the screen won’t shatter if dropped face-first. But, there is no guaranteed protection if the phone is dropped on a sharp object from a greater height. And thanks to the convex design on the four corners and the slant design on the back, the Blackview BV9800/BV9800 Pro can effectively withstand drops.
