AnTuTu Benchmark Score:
Geekbench Score:
We have used the device for quite some time, and the results were great. For regular day to day activity, the CHUWI Hi8 SE performs pretty well. We never faced any lag or glitch. We have mostly used a tablet for browsing and entertainment purpose, and both turned out to be pretty well. The tablet is reliable and will always have your back. One point to keep in the notice is that for some user the animation can feel slow, but you can increase it from the settings, and everything will be fine. A sufficient configuration for a basic tablet but limps at the GPU level if we want to use heavy games.
CHUWI Hi8 SE Camera:
Cameras is the department where most of the tablet lack in performance. However, it turned out extremely exceptional for the Chuwi Hi8 SE. On the front, the tablet comes with a 5.0 MP camera and in the front its equip with 2.0 MP. The shots taken by the camera were beautiful, and you can see the samples by yourself. All the pictures are taken in bright sunlight, and color reproduction is quite similar to the actual condition. Overall the camera can be used more than just for taking snaps here and there.
Battery:
The Chuwi Hi8 SE comes with an inbuilt battery of 4000 mAh. The tablet takes around 3 hours to get completely charge from 0% to 100%. After a full charge the battery provides enough juice to run for a day with moderate use. With extensive use the battery will stay with you for more than 10 hours, which is pretty well.
Pros :
- Full HD display with 1200 * 1920 resolution.
- Uni body Metal design.
- Camera
- Great performance
Cons:
- Absence of calling feature
Verdict:
The Chuwi Hi8 SE delivers a lot more from the price range it’s available. The camera is pretty well, with Android 8.1 Oreo performance is smooth and watching the 8-inch big screen in Full HD mode is mesmerizing. If you are looking for a budget tablet, then you can end your search here. The only place where tab lack behind is gaming, as high-end games can’t perform well but looking at its price it’s quite understandable. The Chuwi Hi8 SE is available on Gearbest at a price bracket of below $100.
