The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite begins to travel around the world, and is now available in France and Mexico
The big Chinese manufacturer of smart devices, Xiaomi, announced last month the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite in China, this being a new version of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro. After that, they then hinted that this device would be launched globally, starting with Ukraine; however, Xiaomi’s global spokesman, Donovan Sung, revealed on Twitter that the device will not only be available in Ukraine, but also in France and Mexico.

He also revealed that the Mi 8 Lite will soon be available in other global markets.
Features of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
Despite falling into the mid-range category, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has an iconic and elegant look, sporting a premium glass design. The device is available in Twilight Gold, Deep Space Gray and Dream Blue color variants; the three colors are presented with a degraded style, and that makes this smartphone the first of the company to use the gradient style.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a notch located at the top of its screen, where we are going to find a 24 megapixel front camera with artificial intelligence capabilities to improve selfies and video calls. The device also has a huge FHD + screen of 6.26 inches with an aspect ratio of 19:9, ensuring that it fits well on the palm of most people and that it does not look too bulky.
On the other hand, on the back there is a dual camera located vertically in the upper left corner of the device. The configuration of the dual camera includes a 12 megapixel main sensor along with a secondary sensor of 5 megapixels, plus an LED flash besides them. Also, this smartphone has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back, thus providing a higher quality appearance.

Speaking about the internal specifications, in the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite we can find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The device comes with several versions of memory: 4GB of RAM + 64GB of ROM, 6GB of RAM + 64GB of ROM and 6GB of RAM + 128GB of ROM. Finally, this phone runs MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo and has a battery with a capacity of 3,350mAh.
Regarding the price of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi did not announce the price of the device in Ukraine, France or Mexico. However, the price of the phone in China starts at 1399 yuan ($200) for the 4GB + 64GB version, the 6GB RAM + 64GB version is priced at 1,699 Yuan ($248) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB model costs 1,999 Yuan ($292).
