Design: Metal case, 2 sim cards and a red button

In terms of design, the global market of tablet innovations appears occasionally. And the Chuwi Hi 9 pro is no exception. The tablet doesn’t come with latest trends like “notch screen,” which is now familiar with most of the smartphones. Yow will get frames around the tablet edges , which are big enough to get into notice by everyone. Notch screen is new, and look cooler. However, it also makes the screen of smart devices more prone to damage.
Having a full edge on your tablet have apparent benefits. Full edges on the tablet provide traditional grip to the device. This lets you use the tablet to its full potential, without worrying about getting your tablet screen bump into something.

However, the makers of Chuwi Hi9 pro have not let any  stone turned to add some extra to the expressiveness of the tablet. Tablets coming with same design make it harder to differentiate between them. The Hi9 Pro comes with unlock button painted with bright red color, this draws attention to itself, and makes it look elegant.

When you hold the tablet in your hand, you sense a nice feel. The upper body of device is made of premium smooth metal. On the upper part only, you can find a USB Type-C connector. The screen measures around 8.4 inches from the diagonal, which is quite enough for a regular tablet. The screen makes it nearly impossible to see each pixel. The device screen is good enough to watch videos or to read for longer durations without exhausting your eyes.

The tablet comes with a protecting film install on the glass. This is really thoughtful from the manufacturers, as they tend to protect the screen of the tablet from any scratches or dirt. However, the quality of film cause some problem, it makes sharded to read, even at maximum brightness. We recommend our readers to remove the film that comes with the device and get a quality film for your device.
Overall, this an excellent display for the money it is available. Screen response to the touch is fast and precise, with great viewing angles there is no complaint about the device display. Using the device directly under the sunlight can cause some viewing issue due to low maximum brightness. However, in the low light, the device display looks beautiful. And without straing your eyes, you can use out for a long time.
