Xiaomi Launches The Mi LED TV 4 (55″) In India Priced At Rs. 39,999 (~$624)
Aside from launching the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India, Xiaomi also took the wraps off the Mi LED TV 4 built specifically for the Indian market. Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 was first launched in China last year and it was available in three sizes, a 49-inch model, 55-inch and 65-inch models.

The Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 meant for the India market comes only in the 55 inches screen size but we never can tell, the company could introduce the other models later on. That size is just mammoth enough to give users a theatre-like experience in the comfort of their living rooms. The Mi LED TV 4 comes with a number of cool features and these include a thin build which is just 4.9mm. This gives the Smart TV the title as the thinnest LED TV in the entire world. It also comes with ultra-thin bezels which makes the TV look as if it is without frames.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 also features PatchWall technology specifically crafted for the India n market. The custom OS integrates the user’s set-top box with the TV’s UI making it easy to control both devices using a single remote. And since it is a smart TV, there are lots of contents for all the members of the family, irrespective of age. The PatchWall software brings all the TV stations available on the set-top box complete with their logos to the TV and this will be shown on the homepage of the TV. This allows users to switch between online TV to content from their set-top box. In addition, Xiaomi touts PatchWall as having supportfor all the major set-top boxes in India which are about 48. It also says it collaborated with Indian company, Sensara Technologies to programme PatchWall to suit the Indian market..The Smart TV also comes with a Mi IR cable which allows uers to control their set-top box and the TV with the Mi TV 4 Bluetooth remote. The remote is easy to use, having just 11 keys.
Other features ofthe Mi LED TV 4 includes a 4K UHD resolution with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. The TV also comes with three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an ethernet port, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and dual-band WiFi. It gts its juice from a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, while there is 8GB of storage onboard.

Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 keeps up with the company’s competitive and pocket-friendly pricing and will sell for Rs. 39,999 (~$624) and will be available on Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi home. It will also be available in offline stores in due course. The Mi TV 4 will go on its first sale online on February 22. The offer also comes with some freebies which includes get a 3-month free subscription to Sony LIV and Hungama Play, a free Mi IR cable, and free installation for the first three months.
