Ok. So, we all know that Meizu failed to get Exynos 8895 chips from Samsung to use them on its flagship devices and also, the company isn’t going to use Snapdragon processors on the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. So, the only choice that’s left is MediaTek. So yes, the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus feature MediaTek processors. The phones differ from each other by the type of MediaTek chipset used and also the amount of RAM and ROM.

Starting with the Pro 7 first, it has a 5.2-inch Display, and we think it is the Full-HD Display, but we aren’t sure about this as it can be Quad-HD. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P25 or the X30 processors. So, there will be two variants of the Pro 7 with different processors. Obviously, the Helio X30 is the most powerful MediaTek chip based on the 10nm manufacturing process just like the Snapdragon 835. There is 4GB of RAM on Pro 7, and it comes in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. Also, the phone has Meizu’s mCharge feature and comes with 24Watt 12V 2A charger.

Coming to the Meizu Pro 7 Plus, it is not much different from the Pro 7. The Pro 7 Plus has a 5.7-inch display and this too, can either be Full HD or Quad-HD. It is powered by Helio X30 processor along with 6GB of RAM. Now, one of the interesting things we came to know is that the charging technology is even faster than the OnePlus’ dash charging and the Pro 7 Plus comes with 25Watt 5A 5V charger. Also, there won’t be any overheating issue while charging, as per the company.

Android 7.0 Nougat runs on both phones with company’s skin named Flyme OS 6.0. The launch is happening tomorrow, and we are excited to see what Meizu has got the surprise us. Stay Tuned.
