I just got Lenovo Zuk Edge and decided to share my first impressions of this bezel-less beauty with monster specs like Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM and AMOLED display! With Zuk Z2 already a worldwide hit, Zuk edge has a lot to live up to. Today, I’ll discuss my first impressions of Zuk’s latest flagship – Zuk Edge.

Zuk Edge Specs
Just wanted to let you know my device has 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage, besides that everything is the same. With Snapdragon 821 onboard this baby really hits the benches, but you’ll have to wait for the full review for those 😉
I’m surprised to see what it appears to be the same camera from Zuk Z2. I wonder if Lenovo has made improvements on that to compete with OnePlus 3T?
Zuk Edge Impressions – Box and Contents
A premium white box contains this truly gorgeous device.
Very neatly packaged and with a QC adapter, Plastic Case, USB-C cable, warranty and Sim Slot Pin inside.
I just love how the box colour and device really fit together!
Zuk Edge Impressions – Design and Build Quality
I am literally speechless of how gorgeous it looks and feels.
It’s light and compact thanks to the glass and plastic body and it’s almost all display.
Really, not a single space was wasted here.
Especially with the bottom portion housing 3.5mm jack, microphone, USB-C and a speaker all on a very limited space.
I really love being able to use a 5.5-inch device with one hand!
While the front takes most credit for its great screen-to-body ratio it’s the back that I like best.
My device was running Android 6.0, but immediately picked up the update for Nougat.
After 10 minutes I was already running Android 7.0 with ZUI 2.5!
Conclusion for now…
Zuk Edge looks and feels great! I love how a 5.5-inch device feels like a 5-inch one thanks to the superb screen-to-body ratio.
This could well be the best One Hand usage phone on the market right now.
I have here my Honor 8 and Xiaomi S1 to compare, so I’ll be doing that in a separate article and video on my channel – Smartphone Wars.
Stay tuned for the full Zuk Edge Review in the coming week!
Comment on which phones you like to see me compare the Zuk Edge to!
