Last year, a couple of Meizu devices were spotted on TENAA with different model numbers that were supposed to be the variants of Meizu M5s. But, months passed, and we got no official or unofficial news about this phone. Today, the M5s has leaked and not just one aspect, but every single thing about the phone has been revealed through this exclusive leak from Pricing to design and also specifications. Since the phone leaked today, the chances are that the company is going to official launch it this month.
Talking about the specifications, the M5s has 5.2-inch HD screen and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset that is clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 2/3/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB ROM. We can see the typical Meizu design with the Oval shaped fingerprint scanner on the front that is going to double as a home button. As per the cameras, there is 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, it is powered by an average 2,930mAh battery. Talking about the dimensions of the phone, it measures 148.2 × 72.53 × 8.4 mm and is 138 Grams regarding weight. Unfortunately, the phone still runs Android Marshmallow with company’s UI.
Design wise; there is the front home button, Antenna lines, the primary rear camera with LED flash at the back and USB port with speaker grills at the bottom. As mentioned in the beginning, the pricing has been leaked too, so the Meizu M5s has a price tag of 1299 Yuan for 3GB+32GB variant. This is approximate $190 which is good but not better than the Redmi Note 4’s pricing.
It is expected that the pricing might start from 999Yuan for the 2GB RAM model and then it can go up to 1500 Yuan for the 4GB RAM model. We are not 100% sure that the images are oF the phone, but they look almost real. There is no update from the company itself, so we will suggest you take this leak with a pinch of salt.
