New 49 Yuan ($7) Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier 2 Released
Xiaomi has quietly released another version of its Mi Wi-Fi amplifier / repeater which serves to amplify the signal sent out of the wireless routers. The Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier 2, as it is called, shares a lot of features with its predecessor but it has a built-in PCB antenna which doubles the signal strength.The latest Wi-Fi Repeater/ amplifier also as its transmission rate increased to 300Mbps and is touted as capable of connecting with 16 devices at the same time.
The Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier 2 is cheap and has a compact build as well as being easy to use. Its just a plug and play setup, which is connected to the router via the USB port and then it automatically syncs. After synchronization, the Mi Wi-Fi amplifier 2 is ready for use. The device can be connected to Xiaomi’s range of routers and also to other routers in the market from third party manufacturers. It seems to work with an app, though, which can be downloaded from Mi Home.
As for the price, the Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier is just 49 Yuan ($7) and would be up for grab starting from December 15 at 10am. You’ll agree that is a cheap price tag in traditional Xiaomi style.
