The Xiaomi Mi Mix was introduced as a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2040 x 1080 pixels which accounts for 91.3% of the entire body. Pure display without hindrance, even the home button is yanked off from under the display which has been revealed to be manufactured by Sharp.
At the back, the Mi Mix comes with a Ceramic body which we have been made to understand will likely hamper the mass production of the device, so expect this sleek amazing device in limited quantity. There is a 16MP 1-Micron OV16880 rear camera built on OmniVision’s PureCel Plus-S stacked die technology, along with LED flash. A fingerprint sensor is also mounted just under the rear camera and is said to be bordered by a round-shaped 18k gold trim together with the rear camera ring.
As stated, the Mi Mix is completely free of any form of design bezels on the sides, instead Xiaomi used a mortise and tenon joint to hold the large display in place with the rest of the body.

UNBOXING THE MI MIX- PURE BLACK BEAUTY
The Mi Mix comes encased in a dark paper box casing which houses the phablet itself, a plastic protective pouch, the charger and a SIM ejector.
The box casing also has written on it, some of the key specs of the device including the massive 6GB RAM as well as 128GB storage and another version with 256GB internal storage.
The device needs no introduction but at first sight, the pure beauty on display captivates one and draws the attention to take a closer look at the device which really didn’t come in very expensive starting at just 3499 Yuan ( around $516) for the 128GB version.
One feature that is intriguing on some phones is the speaker grills that adds some sort of beauty to the bottom egde and the Mi Mix i not leave that out. There is also the USB port for charging the device and data transfer. Make no mistake, there is also the 3.5mm audio jack at the other end on top.
In all, Xiaomi has put up a device that is worth having an unfortunately might be difficult to get giving its limited production. If you are a VR enthusiast, the phone is compatible with the Xiaomi VR headset and can even withstand long extreme gaming with the Snapdragon 821 chip inside, not forgetting the large 4000mAh battery under its hood.
