The Xiaomi Mi Mix was introduced as a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2040 x 1080 pixels which accounts for 91.3% of the entire body. Pure display without hindrance, even the home button is yanked off from under the display which has been revealed to be manufactured by Sharp.
At the back, the Mi Mix comes with a Ceramic body which we have been made to understand will likely hamper the mass production of the device, so expect this sleek amazing device in limited quantity. There is a 16MP 1-Micron OV16880 rear camera built on OmniVision’s PureCel Plus-S stacked die technology, along with LED flash. A fingerprint sensor is also mounted just under the rear camera and is said to be bordered by a round-shaped 18k gold trim together with the rear camera ring.
As stated, the Mi Mix is completely free of any form of design bezels on the sides, instead Xiaomi used a mortise and tenon joint to hold the large display in place with the rest of the body.
