Xiaomi Redmi 4 Already in Large Stock Awaiting Release

At present, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 carries the most anticipation from Xiaomi fans but one device which still holds lots of expectations is the Xiaomi Redmi 4. The Redmi 4 did hit TENAA months back along side the Redmi Note 4 but surprisingly, while the Redmi Note 4 had been released, the Redmi 4 has been missing in action.

It has now emerged from insider sources that the Redmi 4 has been produced for a long time and is already in large stock but the reason why Xiaomi is yet to release the device is unknown. Apart from the renders posted on TENAA, the device is yet to be seen in leaked renders, something very surprising considering the avalanche of leaks Xiaomi phones are subjected to on a regular basis, instead we saw the Mi 5C or Xiaomi Meri which some hoped would be the Redmi 4.

According to the earlier TENAA posting, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 5-inch display with 1080 pixels resolution and would be powered by a 1.8GHz processor which is likely to be the MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. The device is also listed as having 3GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage . There’s also a 13MP rear camera sensor and a 5MP front camera. The Redmi 4 is also listed to boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and will have a huge 4,000mAh under its hood. Quite curiously, the device is also listed to feature infrared transmission.

The device is said to be priced around 699 Yuan and considering this latest rumor that the device is in large stock already, it would surely be a quick hot selling one whenever Xiaomi decides to release it. Perhaps launching the Redmi 4 to crown up its sales for the year wouldn’t be a bad idea.
