Xiaomi, Vivo, Meizu, Huawei to Introduce Curved Screen in their Upcoming Smartphones

Since most of the smartphones currently feature more or less similar hardware configuration, looks, and software, the manufacturers have started looking for new ways to differentiate their products. As per a recent news, most of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers are looking forward to featuring curved screen in their upcoming devices.

Kevin Wang, the research director of iSupply China mentioned that Xiaomi, Vivo, Meizu, and Huawei all of them are coming up with a curved screen in their upcoming high-end device. This, as per Wang would increase the selling prices of the upcoming smartphone prices since this technology is relatively costlier.

Earlier today, we had also reported that a media event by Meizu is around the corner where they might release their Edge screen smartphone.

It was also reported that Lei Jun, co-founder of Xiaomi was planning a visit to Samsung’s R&D center and factories to discuss with the brand about their curved screen technology and the dual-lens cameras.
