Xiaomi Mi Note 2 rumored to launch during the month of August
Xiaomi Mi Max might have been a large smartphone, but it certainly didn’t feature hardware that would place it with the flagship crew. With Mi5 already occupying the 5-inch flagship category, it was high time that Xiaomi produced an Mi Note successor, which if name calling holds true, is going to be named Mi Note 2.
According to a rumored release date coming from Weibo,
The remainder of the specs include possibly a 5.7-inch QHD display, along with a Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is possible that Xiaomi also introduces a Snapdragon 821 or Snapdragon 823 powered smartphone down the road to complement the several models it is going to sell of its Mi Note 2, but that will be for a later time now. In addition, we do not expect to see a microSD slot from the upcoming Mi Note 2, but we do expected to see a variety of storage options featuring hefty amounts of internal memory.
There is also rumor that the Mi Note 2 could feature a 12MP dual-camera configuration at the rear end, along with an 8MP shooter at the front. Due to its sheer size, Mi Note 2 could definitely feature a larger capacity than Mi 5. Even though it will be smaller than the 4,850mAh capacity of Mi Max, we are certainly hoping that the smartphone packs a 4,000mAh battery as the minimum spec.
When the price tag of the smartphone, along with other details become available, we shall inform you accordingly.
