Charm Blue Note 3 to be launched 6th of April with 3500mAh battery.
Meizu have today announced that they will be holding a conference on the 6th of April in Beijing, where they will be launching the new Charm Blue Note 3, Huang chapter is calling it “the most beautiful mobile phone of its kind.”
From previous leaks we expect the Charm Blue Note 3 to come with the MediaTek Helio P10 processor, with support for the entire 4G network, we also think that it will retain the mBack Home button design and come with a 1080p screen size that is over 5 inches (probably 5.5 inches), the phone is also said to be coming with 2GB memory and a 3500mAh battery.
Today, the capacity of the battery appears to have been confirmed in photos showing what appears to be the battery of the new Charm Blue Note 3
If the photos are correct and are for the Charm Blue Note 3 the rated capacity is 3450mAh (13.3Wh), typical capacity 3500mAh (13.4Wh).
Whilst 3500mAh may seem somewhat low in comparison to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3’s 4000mAh rated capacity, the Charm Blue Note 3 features the more energy efficient Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, meaning that the phone should give a good mix of both performance and battery life.
Previous speculation and publication of Meizu’s product roadmap has lead us to believe the price for the Charm Blue Note 3 16GB version will be 799 Yuan ($125), with the 32GB version at 999 yuan ($155), if the pricing is correct it will make it very competitive in the 799-1199 yuan ($125 -$185).
