Gionee introduced their latest smartphone in China yesterday, with the main feature of the phone being it’s large display and a very long battery life.

The Gionee M5 Plus comes in a lot of color variants, we have the Gold version with us. Let’s go over the main selling points of the M5 Plus: Has a 6-Inch Display with a 2.5D touch screen glass, a fingerprint reader integrated into the home button.
The phone also carries a 5020mAh battery in the full-metal back casing. The phone is only 84-mm thick, which is really amazing how Gionee was able to put all of those parts in that thin device.
The Gold version of the M5 Plus carries in the 64-Bit MT6753 Processor with 3-GB of RAM, and 16-GB of in-built storage, with an option to add a micro-SD card to expand the memory to 128-GB.
The Gionee M5 Plus has a 5-MP camera on the front for all the selfies, and Video calls, and a 13-MP camera on the back. Providing the perfect combination of camera modules for every situation.
The phone also uses the latest USB-Type-C connector for charging and data-sysncing. Powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop with Gionee’s own Amigo OS 3.1 on top of it. Gionee has been including a lot of innovative features within AmigoOS as well.
The Phone supports 9V / 2A Fast-Change technology, that can charge the phone within an hour and the battery will last for Three days and nights, however we have to test that claim from Gionee.
The Phone also supports Dial-Sim Dual-Standby with both the SIM’s supporting 4G. Also has support for VoLTE.
