Huawei P9 Specs outed in new leak

Recently we have heard that the Huawei P9 will be launching in March 2016, which is about a year after the Huawei P8 release. Today out of the blue it is being reported that the price of the Huawei P9 will be in the 1500 – 3000 Yuan range ($250 to $500 USD), and the Huawei P8 price will remain the same at 2888 Yuan (Around $450 USD).

Today, Users on various weibos are reporting the alleged leaked specs of the Huawei P9. They are 5.2-Inch screen with 1920x1080p resolution, equipped with the company’s own Kirin 950 Processor. The most attractive feature of the phone being the dual camera’s on the back which reportedly use Sony’s IMX2X6 Sensor, both 13-MP sensors to give features like ‘refocus’, faster auto focus, and more, which are very rarely seen in smartphones from chinese manufacturers in this price range. It’s going to be very interesting how Huawei implements these features.

Chief Engineer Cheng Guifeng at the China Telecom Guangzhou Research Institute, said that the Huawei P9 will most likely use a 5.2-Inch screen since many people accept it as the perfect size, which will also double the performance which will be interesting to see when is use with an algorithm optimization. 2015 has been a very quiet year for dual-camera phones, and with all the leaks suggesting dual-camera phones from virtually every manufacturer, it;s going to be a very exciting 2016.

It is worth mentioning that the Huawei P8 and P9 are two different smartphones when compared on the outside, even though they have similar specs, the huawei P9 is supposed to have an all-metal construction, and also have a fingerprint reader for authentication.

From this perspective Huawei is already looking at a 100-Million domestic shipments in the first half of 2016, and with New Year coming up, they are preparing for a wave of new smartphones to be introduced.
