Huawei Mate 8 says hello to the camera from its rear side

Huawei Mate 8 is scheduled for a November 26 launch date, and from the previous reports, the smartphone is going to be running a Kirin 950 chipset. Now a series of images, including one where you can see the smartphone from its rear end have been leaked, and from the looks of it, there is a rear fingerprint scanner present right below the camera. The rear camera is expected to be a 20.7MP sensor, but we are not sure which company it belongs to.

As for the body, Huawei Mate 8 will be using an all metal frame, as you can see from the image present below. There are also going to be dual speakers system present at the bottom side, which should deliver impressive sound quality. For the hardware specifications, Huawei Mate 8 will come in two resolution versions; one will have a 1080p display while the other one will have a 1440p resolution. The screen of the smartphone will be a humongous 6 inches and there are going to be several differences between the hardware specifications too.

For example, one model is going to have 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of internal storage, while the other one is going to have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both models are expected to provide support for a microSD storage slot and their pricing details are given below.

  • 3GB RAM model: 3299 yuan (516.86 US Dollar)
  • 4GB RAM model: 3899 yuan (610.86 US Dollar)

Both models are going to have a 4,100mAh battery and will support the company’s fast charge feature. On top of Android Marshmallow 6.0, Huawei’s own EMUI 4.0 interface is going to be running. As stated earlier, Huawei Mate 8 is expected to be announced on November 26 so we should keep our fingers crossed for the upcoming event.
