Side-Notes:
1. I think it’s using the same camera & display as the Xiaomi Mi4c
2. The Display uses PSR (=Panel Self Refresh, OnePlus calls it DRAM=Display Ram)
3. The Display uses CABC (=Content Aware Backlight Control, Mediatek calls it “Smart Screen”)
4. The Camera may or may not feature Mediatek’s Super Slow Motion (1080p at 480fps)
5. Definitely no weird dual-camera setup (as some “leaks” suggested)
6. Not sure if Gorilla Glass 3 or 4, but it’s 2.5D & nano-coated (oleophobic + hydrophobic)
7. A lot of plastic shells will be sold seperately (different styles & colors)
8. The Mini will compete directly with the Xiaomi Mi4C & the Moto G 2015
9. There will be kernel source code and thus custom rom & kernel developement
10. Because the Helio X10’s GPU is not all that powerful, demanding 3D games can be rendered at a lower resolution (720p instead of 1080p). Mediatek’s MiraVision technology will then upscale it back to 1080p (= no noticeable drop in sharpness), improving FPS performance while also reducing power consumption & heat output
