Meizu admits mistake and vows to change their ways through its ‘Pro’ handset

During one of the largest tech conferences, Chinese smartphone company Meizu came up and admitted that it was at fault regarding several things. First things first, the executives of the company stated that a smartphone featuring a 2K display and a Snapdragon 810 was a terrible idea, primarily because of the chipset’s notorious overheating issue. Accompanying that overheating issue is thermal throttling, which pretty much kills the processing capabilities of the CPU by clocking it down, reducing performance substantially.

Chinese microblogging website Weibo, which holds Meizu Vice President of Science and Technology executive Li Nan’s account also found that the person and the organization, as a whole have realized their mistakes concerning the above mentioned combination. It seems that the company is going to be making amends, and those amends will most likely be appearing in the company’s ‘Pro’ lineup, which is expected to be the firm’s next premium group of smartphones.

According to Ifanr, Nan says that:

“Today, the price of Chinese high-end phones in 3000-4000 this segment, Qualcomm Xiaolong 810 chip, the choice is definitely frivolous, here really understand the cell phone should understand what I meant to say. But it is sadly no one industry To tell the truth, death did not say a word against 810, the results for China’s consumers are fooled. This is what we have to do high-end brands of root causes. do not tell the truth, and she was good, it is because no one is responsible on the market consumer attitudes to do a really good thing.”

Meizu will most likely be introducing its ‘Pro’ smartphone on September 23, and to avoid overheating issues, the device will most probably have an Exynos 7420 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM present underneath it. We are also expecting that the smartphone will have Sony’s 20.7MP IMX240 rear camera, or at the very least, IMX230.

More hardware details of the smartphone will be given during launch day and there are approximately 10 days remaining for that.
