According to whistleblowersKJuma news, Xiaomi’s new flagship renders are out for the first time. The leaked renderings show the Mi Note 2, which from the images, seems to have an almost edge-to-edge large display, along with a physical home button which could be a fingerprint reader just like the OnePlus Two.

The renderings of the Mi Note 2, shows a large display assembly with a very narrow bezel. The rendering also showcase a Rectangular Home Screen along with two square capacitive buttons which boast a symetrical design which is very pleasing to the eye. The purpose of the home screen could be for a fingerprint reader, just like on some Samsung phones and the OnePlus Two. The button appears to be using Qualcomm’s Ultra-Sonic biometric recognition tech, however, it is in a very early stage of commercial availability.

On the back of the Mi note 2, there is the biggest surprise of all, Dual-Cameras arranged in a parallel fashion. The implementation has been seen with a few other devices where one camera module is for the actual picture taking, and the second one is for depth information, or for faster focus times, and light information for HDR or something similar.

The specs from previous leaks are, 5.7″ 2K Display, Qualcomm’s Smapdragon 820 Quad-Core processor, 4GB RAM, and 32 / 64GB Internal Memory, 12MP front camera and 23MP Rear Camera, and to power all of this a 3,500mAh battery which has support for Qualcomm Quick Charging.

Since Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors only come out early 2016, the Mi Note 2 has to be delayed for this reason, IF the rumors are true.
