Blackview BV9000 Leaked photos

Surfaced earlier, are leaked images of Blackview’s upcoming BV9000 flagship, which sports a phablet sized 5.6 Inch – 5.7 Inch Quad HD display, Mediatek’s Helio X10 CPU, and a fingerprint recognition sensor. The device shown in these images may possibly be just a prototype, so the final product may not be the same.

Just looking at standard layouts of most Chinese phones nowadays, they all contain fingerprint scanners, and most of the time they would be located on the back side he device, located just beneath the primary camera. The same can be said for the Blackview BV9000. GizChina mentioned that the Blackview BV9000 had a fingerprint scanner located underneath the actual display itself, but there may be a bit of miscommunication here, as there’s clearly a fingerprint scanner pad on the back of the device. Maybe they were referring to the scanner being located deeper than usual inside the phone.

Skipping ahead to the specifications and features, we can find a phablet sized device, with a display size that is currently unconfirmed/unknown, but possibly around the 5.5 to 5.7 Inch interval. The panel itself, is a Quad HD panel, (2560 x 1440 resolution.) If you noticed the display on the device, the bezels are very thin and minimal, which adds to a premium, clean finishing touch. In terms of build quality, we want to say the device is made with aluminum, but the backing of the device looks to be made from a hybrid between plastic and metal, but the sides/borders do seem to genuinely be crafted from aluminum.

In terms of hardware, the Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795) powers the device. The Chipset is comprised of 8 Cores, 64-bit capable, clocked up to 2.2GHz from Mediatek. There will also be either 3GB or 4GB of RAM onboard with a 32GB storage option with the possibility of a 64GB version. For optics, the primary camera features Sony’s IMX 230 Lens, which is a 20 Megapixel sensor, and over to the front side, there’s an 8 Megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of pricing and availability, the Blackview BV9000 will be arriving this year in October, and for pricing, there’s no exact confirmation on the pricing, but sources claim the price will be relatively low, looking at the level of hardware compared to the pricing of similar devices Blackview has released before.
