It looks like iPhone 6s with 16GB will be released by Apple after all
There is less than a month remaining for Apple’s iPhone 6s to be officially announced to the public and here, we have come across a leak
This is because 16GB iPhone 6 owners were not able to upgrade their handsets to the latest software update because they had insufficient storage remaining. The remaining storage was utilized in the form of application data, and through frequent updates of different applications (pre-installed and the ones taken from the App Store); they were ultimately responsible for reducing the overall storage for customers.
However, future iPhone 6s owners should keep in mind that iOS 9, Apple’s upcoming software update brings a unique feature where users can temporarily delete application data in order to free up space for successfully updating their mobile devices to the latest platform. Apart from 16GB of onboard storage, iPhone 6s will also be available in the 64 and 128GB models.
Apple A9, the chipset that is going to be present in both iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is manufactured on Samsung’s 14nm FinFET process, and will deliver outstanding performance and efficiency. The device is also going to be fitted with a 20nm Qualcomm Cat LTE modem that will deliver improved carrier network speeds. From the information that we know so far, 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM is also going to be present in both models of Apple’s iPhones.
In order to raise the camera snapping quality, both iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are going to feature a 12MP rear camera sensor that is most likely provided by Sony. The release date of these mobile devices will be in between September 18-25, so we will be waiting for their imminent arrival.
