Xiaomi Confirms: No Electric Car for atleast next 5 years
Today, at Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum fifteenth annual meeting, Lei Jun (CEO of Xiaomi) confirmed that there will not be any Electric Car from Xiaomi for Next 3-5 years. He also stated that for next few years, Xiaomi will work upon mobile phones and tablets, TV Boxes, Router etc. Lei Said
For next 3-5 years, Xiaomi won’t Consider Electric Vehicles, We have decided the layout for next 5 Years including, mobile phones and tablet, tv and boxes, routers, etc. , mainly for the smart home.
Xiaomi Founded in 2010, Had a market Share of 14% in 2014, surpassing Samsung and Apple. When it comes to Smartphones, Xiaomi is the largest Smartphone Vendor in China as well as Indonesia. Five months back, Xiaomi launched in India, and in such a small time span, They are India’s 5th largest Mobile Vendor.
Last month Xiaomi Released it’s flagship, Mi Note, with Some great specs, at a very good Price. Xiaomi also Confirmed that Mi Note will be released in India before Diwali that is before November.
