Recently, the Chinese company presented a line of televisions for the Indian market, in which retail sales are expected to begin at the end of July and August. This is due to the increase in import taxes along with the devaluation of the Indian rupee, then Xiaomi decided to meet with the executives of the Foxconn, negotiated in this way the manufacture of televisions in India.

Finally, these negotiations came to an end and they created and implemented the “Make in India” plan, which is now underway.

At the moment, the Chinese company is only selling three Mi TV models in India:

The 32-inch version at a price of $ 204.15 (€ 175.67).
The 43-inch version at a price of $ 335.39 (€ 288.6).
The 55-inch version at a price of $ 656.21 (€ 564.67).
In turn, they announced that there are more than 500 authorized service centers to repair its line of Mi TVs throughout India.

With the opening in June 2017 of its 500 service center in Bengaluru, Xiaomi has managed to grow 100% in its service center initiatives, obtaining a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) of 86% with a Field Failure Rate. (FFR) less than half the industry average. Since then to the present, there are 500 new service centers that have been incorporated throughout the country.

Xiaomi doesn’t stop betting on the Mi Stores always improving the quality of services to the extent possible in India. Therefore it has been able to achieve another goal with the opening of the 1000th Mi Store in India and it is the city of Hyderabad, Telangana that will house this new store. In this way, it is estimated that India by 2020 exceeds the number of sales in China.
