As it’s shown in the spotted photo, the upgraded version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be called Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. It will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635. This chip has been designed with one goal – to bring some functions of high-end smartphones to the budget-friendly category including camera functionality, video playing and network improvements. It runs at 2.0GHz frequency.
As for the rest of features, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X should sport a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It runs on MIUI8.1, and what we can also say the borders are relatively narrow that should come at taste of users.
Another leaked document shows the Redmi Note 4X should come in two versions – 4GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.
As I said at the beginning of the article, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a thousand-yuan phone, but it’s supposed this upgraded version can cost a bit more – around 1199 yuan ($172) and 1399 yuan ($201) for the 32GB and 64GB versions, respectively. On the other hand, some Mi fans are sure the company won’t change the price category and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will be priced identical to the original model.
