Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Makes Public Appearance For the 1st Time

As usually happens, when a launch date of a smartphone is getting closer, we began receiving more and more leaked photos and info showing ‘the real face’ of it. The same happens for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which is going to be announced on October 25 making the whole smartphone market players reconsider their positions. Thus the Mi Note 2 is a game changer, undoubtedly. We have seen this phone spotted in spy photos for many times, but as for now this amazing flagship has leaked in public places for the first time.

Looking at the photos above and below we can write down the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come with a dual-curved screen. We know this will be at 5.7 inches, and it’s made by LG. Moreover, seems this is the same OLED screen showed at IFA 2015. I mean the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be able to provide a great displaying performance thanks to such a screen. Plus, this phone will become a real rival to the much-loved Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Want more? Well, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will provide 2K video content.

We have talked about the curved edge screen of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 for many times, so let’s focus on other features as well. We can notice the Mi Note 2 will have an elongated home button. This is not a surprising, as almost all latest Xiaomi flagships came with it. But if compared with them, this one sports a more elongated button. Say the same Xiaomi Mi 5 came with a similar button as well, but this one exceed it.

Unfortunately, these photos do not show the back side of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and we can’t learn whether there is a dual-camera or not. I am afraid it will lack it in the final version. As for pricing, it’s said the phone will come at 3999 yuan ($590).
