According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi has cancelled the Mi 6 Plus and decided to launch only one large-screen flagship this year in face of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The real reason why the manufacturer has come to this decision is not disclosed, but we assume it’s related with the housing material – as you know, making ceramic body is not easy.

As for the rumored Xiaomi Mi Note 3, not much known about it, but the leaked specs include a Snapdragon 835 chip, 8GB of RAM, 128 / 256GB of internal memory, 5.7-inch screen a 2K resolution, and 4070mAh battery. It’s also said the Mi Note 3 will use an OLED screen, therefore there is no need to launch two flagships with identical a selling point. But you don’t have to worry about its pricing, as the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is talked to come at the same price tag as the Mi 6.

At last, the Mi Note 3 is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of this year. Thus it should be out at the same time when the current Note model was launched. However, there is still a lot of time and anything is possible. So let’s keep waiting for official news.
