Xiaomi Mi 6 Leaked Photo Shows Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM, and 256GB ROM

Xiaomi will hold a conference on April 11 instead of 16, where it should unleash the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 6 and its higher variant, Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. We know much about this awesome device, and we hope almost everything we have heard about it will turn into reality. Otherwise, the Mi 6 won’t be able to fight against the beasts in face of the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6, Huawei P10 and others. As the release date is getting closer, we’ll see more rumors on it. Even on of the geeks has decided to make a 3D render based on the rumors. But today we have something better for you – the real image of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 have been leaked confirming / showcasing a number of feature we dream of. Plus, another source made one more render proving this handset will sport a dual camera. Let’s see what other specs will be included in the list.

The first thing caught our eyes it the tough design with no-rounded corners. Thus it looks like a Mi MIX and Mi Note 2. This render hints at no 3D back panel. Though the edges are a bit curved for better ergonomics. Anyway, there is a dual-camera accompanied with a dual-LED flash.

Its sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus (aka Xiaomi Mi 6 Pro) should be equipped with a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB (256GB) memory combination, and dual-camera of IMX362. 1. I’m using the Xiaomi mi5S plus @ 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM. Packed with Snapdragon 821 SOC, this beast totally ROCKS! ! Was skeptical about it’s quality as compared to the juggernauts like Apple and Samsung.. (I’ve changed it from Note 7) and also owns a Pixel XL.. this is my daily driver till the next Xiaomi mi6s Plus for sure.

    1. What a statement! I have owned Note 7 before. Can you tell me the visibility of mi5s plus display under bright sunlight? Thanks!!!

      1. Visibility under Sunlight is no problem. You can tweak the auto brightness till about 80% and no problems to read. But if you want to compare the color richness to note 7, it would not be that good. (I’m in Singapore..so you could imagine how much sunlight we are getting..) If you are a selfie or camera guy, then you’ll need know that Note 7 is superior to MI5S Plus. The camera module is good quality but somehow the software still needs tweaking upon.

        1. I see. I asked the visibility question because some complained about Mi Mix’s disappointing visibility under bright sunlight. Thanks for the reply.

  2. Guys, do take note that a higher screen resolution and higher processing speed drains more battery juice for any brand of phones.
