The latest news we have heard about the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 was the existence of the larger screen version. This is quite expectable, because all top brands act in this way. But we are more interested in the launch date of the Mi 6 and its sibling rather than features. Of course, the specs list is important as well, but we know much about them. And as Samsung is going to unveil its beast powered with Snapdragon 835 on March 29, we want Xiaomi not to allow the Korean manufacturer to outrun itself. Well, seems the launch date of Xiaomi’s phone has been pushed forward from April 16 to April 11. We don’t know for sure whether the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be announced on this date, but there will be a conference held by Xiaomi is a fact.
Recently we published a render of the Xiaomi Mi 6 based on rumors. It showcases this flagship will come with a Snapdragon 835 processor, ceramic housing, dual camera, no-bezel screen, and many more. According to the latest rumors, the Mi 6 will sport a 5.15-inch display, while the Plus version will sport a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen. As for camera modules, the original Mi 6 is said to come with an IMX400 sensor, while the larger model should come with an IMX362 sensor. It’s said there will be several versions depending on memory combination: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 64GB on the Xiaomi Mi 6; 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB on the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. Both models should come with a 3200mAh battery.
At last, the Mi 6 is rumored to cost 1999 yuan, while the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus should be priced at 2499 yuan. This is all we know at the moment, so let’s cross fingers and wait for April 11.
