Today, CEO Liu ZuoTu released an image taken with OnePlus 5, however, the camera specifications cannot be determined because the image is in ‘black and white’ format. This image is proof that the OnePlus 5 camera will be designed in color + black and white format which is similar to Huawei’s approach. From the image, the virtual effect is quite natural with a clean background.

The emphasis placed on OnePlus 5 camera is very high, and it may just be a major selling point for this device. This flagship device is expected to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocking 2.45GHz. OnePlus 5 will run on Android 7.1.1 operating system thus a smooth operation of this device is expected. This smartphone will come with options regarding its RAM and ROM. It will have 6 or 8 GB RAM options and 64 or 128 GB internal memory options. OnePlus 5 will probably come with a 15- or a 16-megapixel dual rear camera with DXO professional optimization. This device will probably be loved by selfie lovers as it is expected to sport a massive 16-megapixel selfie snapper; this is not very common in the smartphone industry. This flagship will ship with a portable 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 1440×2560 pixels resolution.

As for the design, OnePlus 5 is expected to have more of a rounded fuselage, and the back of the dual camera is horizontal which makes it looks like iPhone 7 and OPPO R11. CEO Liu Zuotu has assured fans that adequate units of this device will be available and purchase this device wouldn’t be a problem.

I have been a strong follower of Android devices since the release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Right now, Chinese tech completely fascinates me because they are probably the only manufacturers who tries to merge budget and specs.
